THERE IS A GIANT TIKTOK SCANDAL GOING ON ABOUT THIS ‘PINK SAUCE’

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: Pink Sauce.
It can be such a delightful app, that TikTok. I've plucked many a recipe from it, from the burger wrap to the well-known pasta with feta. But sometimes things go wrong, and that was evident this past week. Already familiar with the Pink Sauce? No? Let's keep it that way.
The Pink Sauce is a sauce created by ‘chef’ Carly Pii. I indeed put it in quotes, because I wouldn't really call this woman a chef personally. She invented this pink sauce (surprising name for the product as well) and is currently selling it through this site. Only $20 per bottle. Bargain.
Buckets full of criticism
But despite the fact that the sauce sells surprisingly well, Carly Pii mainly faces criticism. Why? She forgot to have the sauce properly approved by the FDA, the American Food and Drugs Association. Her explanation for this was that it wasn't necessary; apparently, she even forgot what the ‘F’ in that abbreviation stands for.
Can such a pink sauce do much harm? Quite a bit. Carly Pii also forgot to clearly list the ingredients on the packaging, which led many people to discover later that it also contains dairy. As you may know, dairy needs to be kept refrigerated, and they were transported anything but chilled. Better said: those gigantic amounts of this strange sauce were transported in scorching hot trucks and thus actually arrived spoiled to the consumer.

The first hospital cases are already known
The Pink Sauce is a hype, and many kids naturally want to join in. Kids who unfortunately don't think much about the consequences for their health, as was evident on Reddit. A mother shared her story while waiting in the hospital. Her daughter had, without her knowing, purchased this Pink Sauce with her credit card and had to be rushed to the hospital.
Isn't this really a lawsuit waiting to happen? Yep, it certainly looks that way, although Carly Pii doesn't seem to be worried for now. She's probably laughing all the way to the bank, because even more bottles are being bought after all this criticism. People want to have one at home, just in case that lawsuit eventually comes and all users can file a claim. Only in America...
