Wieke in Sandals Royal Caribbean

Oooh boys, I died and went to paradise. That's how it felt at least when I arrived at the Sandals Resorts Royal Caribbean. Now this location is already quite paradisiacal — namely Jamaica — so I really knew it was good, but it has exceeded all my expectations. This is a five-star resort and also adult only. Honestly, I didn't know I needed that last part, but it was so delightful. Sure, kids are fun, but on vacation, I really didn't miss them for a moment.

I also didn't really have the time for that, by the way, because there was really more than enough to do here. In Jamaica, you have several resorts from Sandals Resorts, of which this one is located in Montego Bay. You will find no less than nine restaurants at the resort itself, and another twelve at the surrounding Sandals Resorts. If you know me a bit, you know that I am really a sucker for good food (especially on vacation), so all these restaurants had to be tested. From the beautiful breakfast (à la carte with a view of the overwater villas or the buffet) to the bizarrely delicious Indian restaurant, the Italian restaurant where you really feel like you're in a cute courtyard in Italy, and of course the Thai restaurant on a private island. Now that I'm writing all this down again, I really want to go back so badly, but you can imagine that, I think.

And when I go back, I'm going to save up for one of those overwater villas. It really feels like you're in the Maldives for a moment. It's so beautiful, calm, and serene there, and those villas (with private pool) are so beautifully luxurious. Just a little more saving, but mark my words: I will book a week here someday. Already looking forward to it.
