8 x what everyone was talking about during the Chanel show

As every year, the last day of Paris Fashion Week is dedicated to Chanel. Inspired by collages and classic black-and-white films (including a homemade film featuring Chanel muse Kristen Stewart in the lead role), it is the spring/summer 2023 collection what the fashion world is talking about today (and I guess for the days to come as well). From transparent ankle and knee socks with glitter worn with shiny ballerinas to a sorbet color palette and jumpsuits in Chanel's iconic tweed, this is everything you want to know from us. I would say: take advantage of it and see what you have been saving up for all this time.
1. An abundance of glitter. Shiny suits, golden dresses, and glitter jackets it is.

2. Capes stand out. And preferably in ankle-length format combined with an extra short short.

3. Sorbet colors are hot. Besides a row of black evening looks, it was the sorbet colors like mint green, light orange, and soft pink that appeared frequently in Chanel's iconic tweed in dresses, jumpsuits, and suits.

4. Transparent ankle and knee socks (with glitter) draw attention, and we prefer to see them styled with shiny ballerinas including a bow.

5. From head to toe in white topped off with black accessories; this is how Virginie Viard paid tribute to the two most iconic Chanel colors: white and black.

6. Pretty polka dots. If we are to believe Chanel, this is the #1 print that has made a comeback. From blazers to dresses, the dot was definitely number one.

7. Carefully transparent. Sheer cardigans, skirts, blouses, and tops are spotted all over the place with black as the favorite wearing color.

8. The feather is back. The feather has made a comeback. Subtly along the collar, the sleeve, or the trim, this is definitely one to invest in.
