The must-have for this summer: Weber's new SmokeFire Stealth

Weber steal

Weber is a household name when it comes to barbecuing. As the ultimate standard for everything related to barbecuing, the brand has a large number of contenders that can compete for the throne in your backyard, with the Weber SmokeFire Stealth as the latest addition.

Because the eye wants something too, and that's exactly what barbecue enthusiasts and design experts agree on right now. The Weber SmokeFire Stealth was awarded a Red Dot Award for Product Design earlier this month. The Red Dot Design Award is considered one of the most prestigious design awards. The most beautiful design, exactly what we also find important.

Clean and Robust Design
Gone are the days of purely functional design. Although the basics are still pellets, a flame, and a grill; the design often left much to be desired. Those days are over. For Weber, good barbecue specs are just as important as an attractive design, resulting in the new SmokeFire Stealth having very sleek minimalist lines. The barbecue is clean and robust with minimalist architectural details and a glossy black, enameled porcelain finish. This not only looks good, but it also retains heat and prevents rust.

For the SmokeFire Stealth pellet grill, Weber goes all out for black. The design is fundamentally the same as its predecessor, but now also includes built-in lighting for better visibility and a second grill grate for more capacity. If you want to barbecue just before sunset or even in the dark, built-in lighting is a welcome addition.

Slow cooking
New for the Weber SmokeFire Stealth (available in the EX4 or the larger EX6 version) is the digital addition, but more on that later. Important for the true griller is how the barbecue distributes and directs its heat. And that is particularly good. The SmokeFire Stealth can not only grill at low temperatures or do slow cooking, but also sear your meat in no time. Perfect for preparing all kinds of meat, fish, or vegetable dishes. The new pellet barbecue can grill and smoke from 95 to 315 degrees Celsius.

Now a bit about that digital development. Both models of the Weber SmokeFire Stealth are equipped with Weber Connect technology. This allows you to control and monitor your grill from your smartphone. You can keep an eye on the cooking process while preparing side dishes or enjoying a cocktail with friends.

Newcomers
Even newcomers or beginner grill masters benefit from the Weber Connect technology. The app not only guides you through the entire cooking process (from how to prepare the meat or fish, to flipping and letting it rest before slicing), it also gives you access to various recipes. Additionally, the app provides estimated cooking times so you don't have to think about when that breast has finally hit 96 degrees Celsius. A countdown plus an alert complete the functionalities. Everything to impress your guests with that special wood-fired flavor of your dishes and to be a good host.

Once we start a new hobby, accessories are indispensable. In addition to the Weber SmokeFire Stealth, there are also many accessories to make an even better impression. This line is called Weber Crafted  and ranges from a double-sided searing grate, a flat griddle, and a baking stone (for pizzas, for example) to a roasting basket and a wok/steamer combo.

The Weber SmokeFire Stealth costs €1,899 (EPX4) or €2,199 for the slightly larger EPX6 variant.
