Classic wooden crib, €249,- Zara Home
At the end of 2019, my boyfriend (the lucky ones) and I received the keys to our apartment in the Rivierenbuurt. This was before corona and at that time it seemed like a great idea to tear down the walls to create an open living space. Of course, we never thought that those walls would actually come in handy a few months later with all that working from home. The small (extra) bedroom was converted into my boyfriend's office, but he will really have to share it with the baby soon. The space isn't very large, but with good measurements and the right furniture, everything should fit perfectly. To our surprise, we found out that the cribs where babies sleep are quite large. They often look very cute in photos, but when you see the dimensions, you really need quite a bit of space. After a long search, I got the tip from my mother: Zara Home. You won't believe it, but it was perfect. This crib can be adjusted in height and when the child is big enough, the side rail can be removed. This way, your child can sleep in this crib until about four years old; ideal, right? So if you're still looking for a crib that is a bit narrower, just a little different than usual, made of beautiful light beech wood and super neatly finished? Zara Home it is.
