5 hotspots in Paris
This is where fashion people dance, shop, eat and drink

February 27 marks the beginning of Paris Fashion Week and that already brings us into the Paris vibe. Mindy’s Mon Soleil on repeat (yes, it shouldn't really be but I love it) and the Thalys app on standby. Paris is just three hours away from you and these are the places where fashion people will soon be hanging out. And in the category of good examples leading to good follow-ups, I would say: go ahead.
1. Le Meurice
228, Rue De Rivoli

When I worked at Marie Claire, we were invited for tea at Le Meurice twice a year and it still remains one of my favorite hotels in Paris. If a night there is just a bit too pricey (I get it, I get it), you can always enjoy a drink or a cup of something. And in the meantime, you can peek at all the famous faces that come in, like Catherine Deneuve, Kanye West, Mario Testino, or Anna Wintour.
2. Café La Perle
78, Rue Vieille-du-Temple

Do you remember when John Galliano had a bit too many glasses of Pernod and then unleashed antisemitic rants against fellow terrace-goers and was subsequently kicked out by Dior? Well, that café is the place to be in Paris.
3. La Casbah
20, Rue de la Forge Royale

Go through the door and you’re in Moroccan vibes, drinking cocktails, eating Moroccan snacks, and dancing. Think: cushions everywhere, a thousand and one nights. I'm heading to the playlist as a second-best idea.
4. La Coupole
102, Boulevard du Montparnasse

A classic, which has indeed become a bit touristy but nonetheless radiates the essence of French culture. I recently heard from someone who wanted to dine there with about twenty people that they were turned away because, I quote, they don't like large groups of Dutch people. If you want a touch of Parisian arrogance with the best food and a delightful urban setting, then you reserve here.
5. La salle de sport Klay
4 bis, Rue Saint-Sauveur

Do you want to keep that divine body in check after all your mousse au chocolats, croissants, and creamy raw milk cheeses? Then you can work it off at Klay. A beautiful gym with great classes like bootyfit, stretching, and various yoga lessons. Olivier Rousteing, creative director of Balmain, also regularly does a round here.
