Science says: a messy handwriting is a sign of intelligence

Did you also, back when doctors' prescriptions were still handwritten, never manage to decipher what was written? It was always a surprise what was waiting for me at the pharmacy, because those few elegant strokes didn't make me any wiser. What turns out? Those general practitioners are just clever. Now, that doesn't come as a surprise, but what does come as a surprise is that your handwriting can already indicate that.
Because according to research, people who have messy handwriting are actually much smarter. In any case, it seems you can derive quite a bit from your handwriting; for example, if you press your pen hard on the paper, you are very emotional. If you write the letters connected, you are more cautious and rational. Do you write them separately? Then you are more intuitive.
And if no one can read what you write down, you are therefore very intelligent. That is according to research, with actually a very logical explanation. According to Pegasus Publishers it goes like this: because your brain works so fast, your hands and fingers can't keep up. You think too quickly about what you want to write down, but your body is too slow for that, and that's why everything ends up looking quite ugly on paper.
The next time people can't read what you write down, you should just attribute it to your intelligence. Although this theory isn't entirely foolproof either... Einstein actually had very neat handwriting. Well, there are exceptions to every rule, right?
