Such a brilliant idea that you wonder: why didn't I think of that before? Of course you can put cheese on the barbecue. It just needs a little pan around it. Make this dish with brie, with camembert, or with another soft white mold cheese.

Preparation: 5 min
Preparation: 25 min
Servings: 4

INGREDIENTS
Cheese: a wheel of brie, a small camembert, goat brie, a few pieces of soft cheese – as long as it fits in the pan
Container of cherry tomatoes
Olive oil
Coarse sea salt
Pepper from the grinder
Chili flakes
Balsamic syrup
Handful of basil
1 baguette

A barbecue with only meat is so 2020. Artichokes, toasties, watermelon, and banana; nowadays we throw it all on the grill. And why should cheese be left out? No reason at all, so make sure you have a good cast iron pan and go all out with this recipe for grilled brie from Delish.

Here's how to make barbecue brie
Halve the tomatoes, mix with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper and some chili flakes.
Place the cheese in a cast iron pan or a fireproof dish, and spread the tomato mixture over it.
Put it on the grill and let it bake for about twenty minutes. Check if the cheese is hot and melted by pushing against it: then you can feel if the inside is already soft.
Drizzle some balsamic syrup over it and tear the basil over the cheese. Serve with warm baguette.
