Will Best. Christmas. Ever! be the best Christmas movie of the year?

Millennials, you are going to love this. Anyway, I think many movie lovers are already sold at the mention of a Christmas movie, but just wait until you hear which stars make up the cast of the latest Christmas movie on Netflix called Best. Christmas. Ever!
That name alone seems pretty millennial to me, but it could very well have been intentional. The lead roles are played by Brandy (yes, The Boy Is Mine, that Brandy), Heather Graham (from Austin Powers and The Hangover among others), and Jason Biggs (he probably doesn't need an introduction, but indeed: the one from the American Pie films). This can only go well.
The plot is, like almost every Christmas movie, not particularly innovative, but let's go through it anyway. Jackie (Brandy) sends out a newsletter every Christmas with an update about her life (seriously, who does that? HAHA). Her former college friend Charlotte (Heather Graham) feels more and more like a failure every year because her life is nowhere near as perfect as Jackie's, and that really bothers her.
So you guessed it: due to various circumstances that Charlotte and her husband (Jason Biggs) absolutely cannot control, they end up a few days before Christmas at Brandy's doorstep. And from that moment on, Charlotte has only one mission: to prove that Brandy's life is not so perfect. And well, that almost ruins Christmas.
But all's well that ends well; in the end, it always turns out fine, because that's what a Christmas movie is for. And no, I don't know that because I've seen it already (it comes out on November 16), but because it seems really grim to me if a Christmas movie actually comes out without a happy ending. I actually think it would be quite hilarious if Netflix dares to do that once.
Until then, we have to make do with the delightful sugary romcoms, and this one fits perfectly into that category.
