These are the hotels of The White Lotus

Are you also so addicted to The White Lotus? Since the second season went online, I see it everywhere. And everyone is so enthusiastic about it. I also wanted to know what the hype was about, so I started watching it too. And yep, I’m addicted as well. I seriously think the first season is just as good. Hello, in Hawaii? YES, please. This destination has been on my bucket list for so long. The hotel they stay in during the first season doesn’t look bad either. But: where is that? Well, good news: both seasons were filmed in existing hotels, which means we can actually stay there. Just need to save up a bit first.

Season 1: Four Seasons Resort Maui, Wailea, Hawaii
Fun fact: the suite where the Mossbachers stay actually has enough bedrooms for both Quinn and Olivia and Paula: this suite has three bedrooms in total. The door to it is behind the dining area, and you can see that in some scenes as well. This is the ‘Maile’ Presidential three-bedroom suite, which is 372 m² in size, and will cost you about 29,000 dollars per night.

Season 2: San Domenico Palace, A Four Seasons Hotel, Taormina, Sicily
Yes, you read that right: both seasons were filmed in a Four Seasons Hotel. They received quite a bit of good publicity as a result of the two seasons, which is understandable. Prices per night start around 3300 euros… And the largest suites? The prices for those aren’t even listed on the site, which can never be a good sign financially. As I said: just save up a bit.
