Brilliant: an electric suitcase that you can ride through the airport

On Saturday morning I landed at Schiphol because I was working in Cyprus. That was of course nice (because it's still 21 degrees there), but the journey there and back is... Well, I can't make it any prettier than it is: it's hellish. There are only a few direct flights per week and the rest are all at inconvenient times, so that's why I was waiting in the middle of the night at the airport in Cyprus, to then have a layover in Athens and by the end of the morning I arrived back at Schiphol, without having slept a minute.
Really a case of first world problems, but I found it seriously exhausting: checking in luggage, passport controls, from gate to gate; even before I was home I was already at 10,000 steps, while I had only been at airports and on planes. I was exhausted, and I was vocal about it, especially after my hand luggage suitcase broke during the layover.
And that was the moment I got the best tip of my travel life: an electric suitcase. On wheels. That you can sit on. Riding. The. Airport. Through. Isn't that brilliant? I thought it was a joke, but a simple Google search quickly showed me that this is actually a thing. And now I want one.
The Airwheel for example, they come in silver, black, and pink and go 8 kilometers per hour. In addition, they also have charging points for your laptop and phone and it's a size that can go in the cabin. Okay, it may cost a bit (although it's currently on sale for Bowl and costs βonlyβ 578 euros), but assuming it lasts for years and you no longer have to walk through the airport, I think it's probably worth it all.
This is definitely going on my wish list for Sinterklaas and Christmas. Who knows, maybe I've been nice enough this year.
