This little device is the solution for menstrual pain

woman on the couch with severe stomach pain

Once a month, I am very happy that I have the opportunity to work from home, as I am usually curled up in pain from menstrual cramps. It hasn't always been this way; in the past, I had relatively painless periods with occasional negligible cramps. Over the years, the pain got worse, and recently I discovered the culprit behind those now terrible cramps: endometriosis. It is a condition that affects 5 to 10 percent of women of childbearing age and can cause an immense amount of pain during and around menstruation. I quickly realized that not much is known about this, even though I was fairly quick to identify the cause of my pain, and that there is not much that can be done about it.

In my quest to solve my problem as naturally as possible, I discovered the power of a TENS device, a small gadget in the shape of a kind of butterfly that you stick on your belly during moments of pain. The TENS technology sends electrical impulses to the nerves in your belly, which prevents the pain signals from reaching your brain. So, the pain is still there, but you feel a lot less of it. The only thing you feel are the subtle vibrations of the device, which you can set as hard or soft as you want.

And it really works; this device has saved my life multiple times. Where I normally knew weeks in advance when I would have to stay home due to the pain, this device makes me much more mobile during my period and really ensures that I no longer curl up in pain from the cramps in my belly.

Curious? Here you can order the TENS device  and if you prefer to see how this works first, watch this video:
