The Price Of Glee is the docu you want to see

The Price of Glee

Aaahh, what is this annoying. I guess it's due to my algorithm and/or my current location (Dubai), but my TikTok is full of foreign trends — and this is one of them. What trend is that? People discussing in detail the new documentary about Glee, The Price Of Glee. As a Glee fan, there's a good chance this will break your heart, but it's so interesting. The big ‘boogeymen’ are — if I may believe TikTok — creator Ryan Murphy and Lea Michele, but more on that later.

Because what I find so annoying about this? Well, that the documentary is already available everywhere, except in the Netherlands. Yes guys, what is that again? Fortunately, it's coming to Discovery+ soon. We just have to wait until this coming Friday. But as I see all the TikToks (and that's pretty much been my only activity today), the wait is more than worth it.

Lea Michelle was exposed on Twitter some time ago for being quite unpleasant on set. And that is confirmed in the doc by several actors; extras were not allowed to sit at her table and she had quite a temperament.

But Cory Monteith is also discussed, who passed away in 2013 at the age of 31 from an overdose. During the first seasons of Glee, he was still sober and knew very well that he shouldn't touch alcohol. But a colleague from the cast (it's not mentioned who this was) convinced him at a party to have a drink anyway. That colleague told Cory: ‘I will always look out for you.’

This doc will stir up so much, I am sure of that. Is it Friday yet?
