Oooh, that’s not very convenient, is it, RTL? In the heat of the moment, when we are all on edge, they still manage to give a big spoiler for the finale of Expeditie Robinson at the end — I assume unintentionally, although it is a bit clumsy. Because those who pay close attention at the end of Sunday’s episode and stick around for the preview of next weekend can already spot the first finalist.

What do you get when you win a challenge and are thus guaranteed a spot in the finale? Right, an immunity necklace. And it’s not a small accessory, no, it’s a hefty necklace and it’s easy to spot. So if we see some of the Council of Elders during the previews and there are so few participants left, it’s not very hard to discover who has that big necklace around their neck.

In case it wasn’t clear yet: yes, spoilers are coming, so click away quickly and don’t read further if you don’t want to know this yet.

If you pay close attention, you’ll see that Guido is wearing the necklace. Finally, after finishing second twice and being so close last episode but missing out, it really seems like he’s finally hit the jackpot. YES, he is the first (half) finalist we can be sure of.

Double inconvenient: they zoom in on Willem in the preview as well. Better said: on a Willem without an immunity necklace. This makes it very easy for us to decipher. But does that mean we are less excited for the upcoming weekend? OF COURSE not. Is it already Sunday?!
