People say: ‘This movie really gives you a mindf*ck’

I have always been a film lover, and that might be an understatement. I am quite an intense enthusiast, and if I like a movie (or not, it actually doesn't matter much), I want to know everything about it right after. So, I scour IMDb, find and read any relevant subreddits, and I need to know all the trivia.
Especially if it's a movie that continues to haunt you because you have no idea what you just watched. I experienced that the first time with Memento; what happened here? How? And also the famous twist of The Sixth Sense really left me in shock, so the movie had to be rewatched to see how on earth I missed that.
Also a fan of those movies that really leave you in a state of confusion? Users on Reddit share their best tip when it comes to real mindf*ck films. Watch at your own risk, because these movies probably won't let you go easily.
1. ‘Pi (1998). Nothing is as nice as a movie that makes you feel like you have schizophrenia…’
2. ‘Coherence. And the more you read about it, the crazier it gets. The film was shot in five days with a budget of 50K, in the director's house while his wife was giving birth. The actors only received a few lines each day, so they didn't know how the story would end. Because of all this, a lot had to be improvised, and the camera is mobile and very shaky.’
3. ‘Paprika really takes your brain on a bizarre trip.’
4. ‘Old Boy (the Korean version). The ending of that movie is such a mindf*ck, at least that’s what I thought when I first watched it when it just came out. By now, many spoilers are known, but if you haven't read them yet: you don't know what you're in for.’
5. ‘At number one for me is Primer. I've watched it a few times now and I still can't tell you exactly how the story goes. It's so unique and not something we've seen much of. It's extremely simple in all its complexity.’
6. ‘Memento, and go in completely blind if possible; with no prior knowledge, this works the best.’
7. ‘Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. After watching this film, I just wandered aimlessly around the parking lot, trying to understand what I had just seen.’
8. ‘Enter The Void. It's one of those films that I'm glad I saw. Because it's such a unique film, but also one that I never want to watch again in my life.’
9. ‘The Lighthouse. I think I shouted ‘what the f*ck?!’ out loud at least five times during this film — sometimes it felt like I was going crazy.’
10. ‘Predestination. I watched this film without knowing anything beforehand. I thought: oh cool, a movie about time travel with Ethan Hawke. Wow, was I ever wrong.’
