Here you buy the perfect Father's Day gift

Do you have June 18th in your calendar to celebrate your father (or someone who plays a fatherly role in your life)? I do, and I already have my gift ready. No last-minute practices in recent years, because I now know very well what makes my father happy. It has been a bottle of something he likes for years. My father now knows that on days like Father's Day he won't get a bottle of wine, but really a nice bottle of something I know he loves.

And this year it has become a bottle of Talisker whisky. Whisky that is already very beloved in our family (so I can't go wrong there), but this bottle is extra special. A day on which many people reflect on the effects humanity has on the ocean and create awareness for it. We should (actually must) be a bit kinder to the ocean and handle it better.

What does Talisker Whiskey have to do with that? Well, they have specially designed a bottle for the preservation of the ocean. Fun fact: that bottle is also made from recycled glass. For every bottle of Wilder Seas Single Malt Scotch Whisky sold, three euros are donated to Parley, an environmental organization dedicated to the protection of the oceans. They invest in various research projects to keep the ocean healthy, but they also advocate for things like the kelp forests in the world and their preservation. So it's really a beautiful goal and an extra reason to give this bottle to my father. Besides the fact that it's just really good whisky, right? Perfect win-win situation.
