See: new series Hockey Dads on Videoland

Videoland is coming out with a new series and the chances are high that I will binge-watch it in one go, just like Moedermaffia. From the looks of the trailer, this is going to be another great watch. At least the cast is promising: Sanne Wallis de Vries, Fockeline Ouwerkerk, Annet Malherbe, Holly Brood, Beau van Erven Dorens, Jim Bakkum, Carolien Karthaus-Spoor, Peter Blok… Well, this can only be fun.

The series is called Hockeyvaders and is about — you’ll never guess — hockey dads. Three hockey dads in particular, middle-aged men who are not exactly looking forward to getting older. A case of midlife crisis, and it’s even more confronting when your kids are thriving on the hockey field with all the accompanying parties. If only you were young again.

I think this is quite relatable for many. I didn’t play hockey myself, but I did attend all the parties and later the TDs, only to be back in the school benches on Monday morning. I’m curious if this series will be as outrageous as it was at all the hockey clubs in Amstelveen. I hope so. We’ll see: the series will be online on Videoland on March 17.
