Just about MAFS 3

Who would have thought it, me and MAFS. But I'm quite into it, not to say ‘completely’ in it. Shall we go over last night together?
Nicole and Martijn
They have really disappeared. And while I found Martijn to be an okay guy and Nicole a bit of a whiny hothead, I have slightly adjusted my opinion. She gave an extensive interview to Boulevard and Martijn kept going in circles. Well, an interview, no interview, posting on Insta that you're giving an interview and then not doing it after all. It seemed a bit like a man with two faces who is very friendly and relaxed in front of the camera, but can suddenly put on a very different face. And then I understand that you get frustrated. I wish Nicole a really nice partner. And Martijn of course too, that's just how I am. But they are gone and a new couple will take their place.
Remco and Paula
Oh guys. Paula. Phew. She had such a busy time, everything was breaking down. Her car broke, her iron broke. Oh, how I love Twitter when I read this: ‘My car broke. My iron broke.’ Remco: ‘Everything always comes in threes, right?’ and then a Twitter user says: ‘I think Remco is right. This marriage is going to break too.’
But Paula then. Okay, I understand that Remco is a man you need to get to know. He is not someone who immediately enchants you with his looks and charisma. But I think he is really a sweet, nice, loyal man who is now giving Paula a very cold shoulder. She to him, right? Paula looks nice, but if I were Remco, I would find it a bit much to end every day with a negative review.
Eveline Stallaart, the sexologist
As if it’s not intimate enough to marry a complete stranger, the sexologist also comes to measure the temperature on the honeymoon. How early did she ask it? Whether there was lust or more of a willingness to try? She doesn’t quite ask how wet she was and how hard he was. Guys, reporting to your parents after your first time seems easier to me than talking to a camera with a sexologist about your ‘progress’ between the sheets with someone you didn’t know a week ago. That pressure doesn’t seem beneficial for your relationship. Back off, Eveline.
Laura and Cathelijne
If there’s a couple where passion immediately sparks for me, it’s with Laura and Cathelijne. They still put on a little T-shirt before going to sleep, but I don’t think they will need tips from Eveline Stallaart.
Wilfred and François
If you’re talking about a match made in heaven, I think you’ve got one here. I find them so lovely and delightfully quirky.
Wichian and Loes
Where I wanted to give Wichian some corrective taps last week when he didn’t react well to the story about Loes's deceased ex, I’m starting to like him more and more. He opens up, does his best, and despite the somewhat awkward sprinkling of ‘darling’ and ‘sweetheart’, I see that he really wants to. And how sweet was that three-minutes-looking-into-each-other's-eyes moment. Here is a couple that certainly feels the discomfort and pressure at times, but is doing their best.
Did I miss something in this episode? Yes, Paula's mother. Give that woman a show!
