Well, the latest MAFS
Shall we then?

I'm not the type to watch TV during the day, but yesterday I had to. I turned on Videoland and devoured the latest MAFS. I had already received a message from Daniëlle that Wichian and Loes had split up and heard that Stephan and Patricia, against all my expectations, wanted to continue their marriage. So I had to. And I justified it to myself that I would write about it and that is work again.
The latest MAFS episodes are a bit of the dullest. You more or less know what the people are going to say: ‘That last bit isn't working yet’, ‘I'm struggling to give myself’ and those kinds of things we were already aware of. Again, compliments from me to Carlo, whom I find a masterful creator and also interviewer. Maybe he can give that editor who dares to put the film score of Basic Instinct under the future reading with Paula and her mother some tutoring later. Or fire him, that works too.*
To make it all a bit more exciting, Paula's mother was summoned and you know: I'm a fan. She didn't disappoint again, nibbling on her cookie and giving herself compliments (‘No one is perfect, except me then’). I found Paula surprisingly much more sympathetic. Also when I saw that she still likes Remco on Instagram (I started following everyone, the things MAFS makes you do) and oh, I found her final speech to Remco so much warmer than his. So I hope she indeed finds the real one in four to ten months.
The update: Richelle and Maarten stayed together but are now separated, I read. The last bit remained locked. We knew what would happen with Remco and Paula, Wichian and Loes tried but also missed the sparkle. What makes me a bit scared: do women just not fall for nice guys? What does that say about us?
That's why I shivered a bit at the final verdict of Stephan and Patricia, because he wanted to be just a bit nicer than she did. But what turned out? Patricia wanted to keep the ring on.
And may I announce a prize for the best answer to a question and award it to Patricia?
Carlo: ‘May I ask a cheeky question?’
Patricia: ‘The answer is YES.’
And her tears of laughter and color on her cheeks told us exactly what she meant. Masterful.
Also Carlo's reaction, by the way, who undoubtedly wanted to ask another question and quickly rummaged through his papers and said: ‘So I don't need to ask this question anymore.’
Anyway, it's over. I've closed many people in my heart, have a lot of hope in Laura and Cathalijne and really hope that Patricia will keep saying ‘yes’ to cheeky questions. I wish it for you.
Until next season, dear people. Until MAFS.
