Tinder has two new features that make finding love easier

If there is one thing Tinder is good at, it is trying to make dating easier. We are of course eternally grateful for that, as finding your way in the battlefield of love is not so simple these days. The app recently launched the intent feature, which allows you to clearly indicate what you are looking for, and what turns out? Love is not dead yet. The majority of members now have a relationship intent on their profile, which means that most people are looking for a serious relationship.
To make the chances of success in online dating even easier, Tinder has rolled out two new features: the relationship type feature and the pronouns feature. With the relationship type feature, members can now indicate what type of relationship they are looking for, such as monogamy, an open relationship, and polyamory. This particularly caters to the preferences of Gen-Zers, of whom 52 percent prefer monogamous relationships and 41 percent are open to different forms of non-monogamous relationships.
With the pronouns feature, members can describe their identity with the pronouns they identify with, something that is happening more and more these days. Tinder states that by allowing members to indicate a pronoun, they can show how they identify themselves, which contributes to a more inclusive and respectful community on the app.
With the launch of these new features, Tinder is primarily taking into account the way Gen-Z and the LGBTQIA+ community are evolving. For Gen-Z, it’s all about the individual and their personality. Tinder also enables its members to meet people outside their usual circle of friends or even people they would never encounter in their daily lives. This is especially important for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, as Tinder often hears that it is the first safe space where they dare to come out before telling their friends and family.
Paul Brunson, Relationship Insights Expert at Tinder, says about this: ‘The acceptance of differences by Gen-Z and their inclusive approach to gender and sexuality are the driving forces behind a new era. They are paving the way for future generations to embrace their true selves and get the most out of their lives.’ How beautiful is that? I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Gen-Z can rule the world, and they are doing it too.
