HEMA has a new flavor of tompouce
Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: HEMA has a new flavor of tompouce.
HEMA, the pride of the Netherlands, continues to amaze us, you know. And I call it the pride of the Netherlands because I feel a bit proud when I encounter HEMA abroad. And a bit awkward; as if it doesn't belong there. I was recently in Paris and came across several of them. The same font, layout, just the HEMA as we know it, but completely French. Still feels strange.
Unfortunately, I didn't go inside to see if they also sell their very best items in Paris, so I don't know if the famous hotdog, smoked sausage, or tompouce is available there as well, but I actually fear not. The horror. Fortunately, we have it here, and in that lineup, we can now add a new item: HEMA has a brand new flavor of tompouce in their assortment.

Just look: doesn't this look like a picture again? I realize again that it has been way too long since I last ate such a tompouce (fun fact: on your birthday, you get one for free, upon showing your passport). It seems logical to me that this new variant also falls under that... Only my birthday is on September 1st, and I will definitely be tasting this already this weekend. I'll take the hotdogs home with me, then my happiness can't get any better.
