Today we tip Tiny Studio’s Jot + Fest

The ultimate place for a much-needed break

I am a city girl through and through, we all know that by now. Yet I must admit that lately I have been feeling a bit claustrophobic from the crowds in my hometown. People here walk all over each other, have forgotten how to speak softly, and they haven't heard of traffic rules since 2018. It's enough to drive you crazy. So it's high time to sneak away for a night with my boyfriend.

What could be better at such a moment than escaping for a day and a night to the Veluwe? Exactly: nothing. A week ago we left the hustle and bustle behind and drove with appropriate city haste towards Tiny Studio’s Jot + Fest in Olburgen, Gelderland. We lost that haste somewhere in the middle of the meadows, because after a very soothing ride through the Gelderland countryside, we found a cozy Tiny Studio where we could enjoy the tranquility of the Veluwe for 24 hours.

Tiny Studio Fest

We stayed in Tiny Studio Fest, but Tiny Studio Jot (which is next door) is just as cozy. Both cottages have everything you need for an ultimate city break: a comfortable sofa, a television, a fully equipped bathroom, books (in a cute mini-library in the garden), games, a lovely bed where I haven't slept so well in years, a fire pit where you can enjoy drinks late into the night, and even a hot tub. You understand that we actually needed more than a day to fully enjoy all the adventures that Jot + Fest has to offer. I definitely recommend booking more than one night if you want to optimally escape the city hustle.

Do you want to make your stay even more luxurious? Then order your breakfast from Lunchtasje and enjoy delicious fresh rolls, fruit, fruit juice, and still warm eggs in the morning while you only hear the sound of birds and a buzzing bee in the background. Really, if heaven exists, then it's here. For us, this was not a goodbye to the Tiny Studios, no, this was absolutely a see you later!
