This Prada lookalike you can buy at H&M for €20.99

A year ago, I was at the Prada boutique in the Bijenkorf. I saw a funny crocheted bag, the kind your grandma would take to the greengrocer. Seemed fun for summer, so I asked the nice guy at the boutique about the price. ‘Fifteen hundred euros,’ he replied. I complimented him on the fact that he could roll this off his tongue without bursting into laughter or turning red with embarrassment and walked out of the store. I'm not too proud to pay a ridiculous amount for a piece of clothing or an accessory, but this was even too much for me.

At those moments, it's wonderful that H&M exists. Not that I'm a proponent of ripping off and grabbing, but hey, if you dare to ask such insane amounts for a crocheted bag that might cost you five euros as a brand, you're asking for revenge. And it's here, and oh how sweet it tastes. H&M has a lovely lookalike in two colors: basic beige or very 2023 green. What does it cost? €20.99. Now those are real prices, Prada.
