Today we pre-order: Boergondisch by Eva Posthuma de Boer

I have no idea if I'm the only one here, but I always find it so much more fun to cook in the winter than in the summer. During those summer months, I find it too warm, eat out a lot more, and when I eat at home, I often quickly make a soup or a salad — something light, because with the heat, I have less motivation to stand in the kitchen for long and just less hunger.
But secretly, I am already looking forward to it; for example, during those dreary days, my slow cooker will be dusted off again. All my cookbooks are also full of recipes that are not necessarily summer-proof, because I don't use them anyway. Good news for me that on November 1, right in the middle of those dreary days, a new cookbook will be launched that I am already looking forward to.
And that is ‘Boergondisch’ by Eva Posthuma de Boer. I wasn't familiar with her books for long, but I was tipped off about Keukenkastje Kerst last year when I was preparing my Christmas dinner feeling uninspired (and panicky). It contains 25 nice recipes, with wine suggestions — yes, then you have me.
And with a name like ‘Boergondisch’, you have me right away. From the few images that have been released, I spontaneously get hungry (that artichoke!) and I immediately feel like dining with friends for hours. You can pre-order it already, so it will be right at your doorstep. I obviously did that right away.
