Gordon Ramsay's quick pasta carbonara

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: Gordon Ramsay's quick pasta carbonara.
Gordon Ramsay has been sharing his 10-minute meals with the world for a while now, and among other things, he has already served us pasta with shrimp and more deliciousness. However, few of these dishes will have caused as much of a stir as his carbonara...
Cooking: 10 min
Servings: 2
INGREDIENTS
4 thick slices of (breakfast) bacon
2 large mushrooms
2 cloves of garlic, peeled
4 tablespoons of frozen peas, thawed
3 tablespoons of crème fraîche
2 egg yolks
1 red chili pepper
a handful of chopped parsley
Parmesan cheese to grate over it
200-250 g dried spaghetti
salt and pepper
As you know, we find it hilarious to read how Italians get angry about what is done to their dishes, and you must also check out the comments from deeply offended Italians under the YouTube video where G makes spaghetti carbonara. We didn't translate everything through the translation app, but haha, believe us that the word ‘merda’ comes up more than once: they go CRAZY. If you nevertheless decide to make this delicious dish, here is the recipe for you:
How to make Gordon Ramsay's quick pasta carbonara
1. Make sure to have a large pot of boiling water on the stove and add a generous pinch of salt. Place a large frying pan or deep skillet over medium heat.
2. Add the spaghetti to the boiling water.
3. Cut the bacon into pieces.
4. Add the bacon to the hot frying pan and cook while breaking it apart.
5. Grind black pepper over it.
6. Slice the garlic thinly and add it to the bacon.
7. Slice the mushrooms and add them to the bacon.
8. Add some salt and pepper.
9. Slice the pepper into thin rings and add it to the frying pan as well.
10. Grate some cheese into the bowl with the egg yolks and add the crème fraîche.
11. Mix well and also stir in a spoonful of the pasta cooking water.
12. Add the peas to the frying pan and stir well.
13. Add 10 spoons of cooking water to the frying pan and mix everything.
14. Drain the spaghetti just before al dente, and add the pasta to the frying pan.
15. Lower the heat and add the egg mixture to the frying pan.
16. Stir briefly until all the pasta is coated.
17. Stir in the parsley, serve on a large plate, and shave more Parmesan cheese over it.
