SUBMIT YOUR BEST PASTA RECIPE AND HAVE A CHANCE TO WIN A WEEKEND IN FLORENCE

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: win a weekend in Florence with your signature pasta.

At Spaghetteria, the cheerful restaurant with multiple locations throughout the Netherlands, revolves around homemade pasta. Crafted by their own chefs. But wait a minute: your pasta can also be featured on the menu. Because although the menu is usually created by the chefs of Spaghetteria, amateur cooks now also have a chance to see their pasta dish on the menu. Spaghetteria is looking for the best amateur pasta chef in the country and the winner will also fly to Florence for a weekend.

Pasta, who doesn't love it? From a creamy pasta pesto to a creamy lemon pasta and a pasta with shellfish and chorizo and oh yes: that shrimp pasta from Gordon Ramsay! Icould eat it every day.

What is your favorite?
Do you also have a favorite recipe that is your own and always impresses? Then this might be your claim to fame moment. Submit it, that dish! Or well, the recipe, to start with.

No Hawaiian nonsense, per favore
It's important to mention that only classic Italian dishes will be judged. Pasta with chicken and pineapple will not be appreciated. And to help you on your way: follow these 5 pasta rules for the best pasta. Get creative with any type of pasta and submit your own recipe.

You can do this until the end of April 2023. Do this under the name ‘Your Pasta’ via the website or drop it off at one of the Spaghetteria locations. A jury of pasta professionals will then choose three nominees who will come to prepare their own recipe in one of the Spaghetteria's. Videos will be made so that the public can ultimately help decide which pasta will be permanently on the menu.

The winner will also go (with a +1) for a weekend to Florence. You can participate via this link.
