Oh yes: STACH now sells Oatly soft ice cream

Oatly Soft Ice Cream at STACH

Say wine, snacks or haute cuisine and the gourmands at online food magazine FavorFlav know where to drink, how to eat it and what to cook. This time our cheffies serve you: STACH now sells Oatly soft serve.

Well, I’m not even ashamed of it anymore: I’m a bit of a member of the oat milk elite. And yes, I’m aware that this isn’t necessarily positive. But just like many others, I consistently drink lattes with oat milk instead of regular milk and even recently matcha lattes. I’m a walking cliché.

Fortunately, I am not the only one given the ongoing popularity of oat milk, so I certainly won't be the only one who finds this crazy news: Oatly now also has soft serve ice cream in their range.

VEGAN SOFT SERVE: TASTY OR NOT?
The Instagram account with the largest oat milk elite name ever, Marie-Claire's Hair Clip, tasted it for us. And according to her, you really can’t taste that it’s vegan, and the flavor is very good. Honestly: at first glance, it looks pretty damn good and indistinguishable from ‘real’ soft serve. By the way, it’s also a very logical next step for Oatly to focus on soft serve just before summer. For now, it’s only available at STACH, but if this becomes a success, other sales points will surely follow, right? Who knows, we might get a real Oatly ice cream parlor this summer.

Is that the pinnacle of oat milk elite? Yes. But am I very happy about this and will I be eating this all summer long? Also yes.
