People say: ‘Movies I didn't think were that good’

It has happened to me (thankfully) a number of times: that you start watching a movie and think: this is going to be absolutely nothing, and then you are completely wrong. I always find that one of the least terrible things to be wrong about, because a fun movie is always better than a stupid movie.

Well, Reddit thinks so too, and that's why they gave tips and an answer to the question: ‘Which movie did you watch that you never expected to be so good?’ and those answers, I didn't really expect either. Especially not the one from Puss In Boots, I want to watch that as soon as possible.

My tip? Yaaa, of course I have one too. Take Me Home Tonight seemed to me to be the most ridiculous high school comedy ever, but I can keep watching it. So fun.

1. ‘Tucker and Dale vs Evil. I went in without knowing anything about it and it has become one of my most watched movies.’

2. ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. I knew absolutely nothing about the comics when I watched it and I even thought Michael Cera was pretty stupid. I love this movie.’ — Side note from me: this is also one of my favorite movies. Really a recommendation.

3. ‘The latest Puss in Boots. It was so good. Much better than the previous one and absolutely one of the best animated films of the year.’

4. ‘Maybe ‘good’ is not the best description, but Cocaine Bear was so much more fun to watch than it actually should be.’

5. ‘Oldboy from 2003: the American version was really not necessary, you have to watch this one.’

6. ‘I thought Click would be a standard Adam Sandler movie, just fun to watch, but oh man, that hit hard. Especially the second time I watched it, when my father had just passed away.’

7. ‘Role Models, I don’t watch many movies in the cinema, but my wife really wanted to see it. I thought it would be very stupid but I was really on the floor laughing.‘
