Hotels with beautiful views in the Netherlands

The sun is finally showing itself (and for several days, YES) and then I always feel the urge to get out of the city. The sun and warmth are nice, but sometimes Amsterdam really starts to suffocate me. So it's high time to book a night away, and you can best do that at one of the hotels below, because there you can enjoy not only the sun but also an amazing view.

Lighthouse Harlingen
Such a beautiful and special location: an overnight stay in a historic lighthouse in the middle of Harlingen. Admittedly: it's not big here, but it's really fun to spend a night, especially if you have date night. Here you have not only a beautiful view but also real quality time; you have the whole lighthouse just for you and your +1. Besides a bedroom, you also have a living area with a seating area and of course a bathroom. Nice: in the morning, the baker comes by with fresh rolls for breakfast.

Boutique Hotel Parc Broekhuizen
Such a beautiful environment: in the middle of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park. Ultimate peace and ultimate enjoyment, because you have several restaurants and bistros here, even Restaurant Voltaire, which has a star. So you can really indulge here, and then enjoy in one of the 22 rooms and suites. Believe me, you won't want to leave here.

The Unbound
If you live in Amsterdam and really want to seek peace but don't want to travel too far, this is the place you want to go. A private little house, some even have a sauna, a view over the water... A glass of wine and nothing more to do, sounds good to me.

I love rooftop bars and/or hotels with a view from great heights. Now, you don't always have the best view in Amsterdam (the view over Station Zuid isn't very special, in my opinion), but luckily here in the restaurant you have a view over the whole city. And honestly, I had the best Pornstar Martini ever here, so definitely grab that too.
