Whether I have planned a vacation or not, sometimes I just love to browse Airbnb. Then I choose a destination I want to go to someday and dream away at the most beautiful accommodations I can never afford. Ah, a person can keep dreaming, right? I have already found dream accommodations in Hawaii, in Lapland, in South Africa, and in Japan. Yes, in my dreams, I am a real globetrotter…

But well, they are all quite unaffordable. But it can always be worse, because there is one accommodation that makes all other prices pale in comparison. The most expensive accommodation that can be booked on Airbnb. And yes, it is beautiful. But is it really worth the money…?

It is the Musha Cay in Copperfield Bay in the Bahamas. Of course, that is an insane destination (it seems to me, I have never been there), but for 60K dollars per night (converted about 54K euros) I find it a bit steep, you know.

What do you get in return? Twelve bedrooms and thirteen bathrooms and all the privacy you need, because Musha Cay is a private island. But to be honest: for that much money, I find that the photos don't look that great. That could be due to the lighting, but I don't find the toilets and bathrooms necessarily worth 60K. A fun extra fact: David Copperfield is the owner of this little place.

No, I will skip this one. Just give me number four on this list, namely the one on a private island called Tagomago in Ibiza. That costs you about 32K dollars (30K euros) per night and is therefore a lot cheaper than the one in the Bahamas. And even closer too! Well, what a bargain.
