Ticking from the spot that I am going to tip you right now, they are the pool lodges at holiday park Thijmse Berg that you want to book immediately in nice weather. Our week away was planned for months, with this week being a mega luck thanks to the beautiful late summer weather. While booking a week away in our own country, it was a bit of a search for ‘a cottage with a swimming pool’, but once found, booked, and now also being tested, this pool lodge (with heated pool) is really a mega recommendation for the ultimate holiday feeling ‘just’ in the Netherlands. The cottage is stylishly furnished and the outdoor area along the forests is super beautiful. Really, if the weather in the Netherlands stays a bit nice, an hour's drive towards Rhenen is indistinguishable from an overpriced casa in Ibiza. Once, twice, save that spot.
