The Scandi Hairline is the hair trend of the moment

The weather hasn't been great these past few weeks (understatement), but you can still bring summer to your head. Or better said: summer on your head, with a summery haircut. The hair trend of the moment is the Scandi Hairline, and with it, you achieve a very summery look without having to dye your hair extensively. And that's nice, because this trend isn't mega harmful to your hair.

This trend is called the Scandinavian hairline and is a specific technique that mainly lightens the hairline around your face. This way, you immediately get a much more summery and light appearance while not changing much at all. This technique is based on the parts of your hair that normally catch sunlight; by lightening those parts, you get a slightly lighter haircut, as if you've been baking in the sun for days.

With the Scandi Hairline, the dye used to lighten these parts is one or two shades lighter than the rest of your hair. This way, you can see a difference, but it all remains very natural. Optionally, you can combine it with further highlights spread throughout your hair if you want the effect to be a bit more visible.
