Look no further, because I found it: the absolute best cinnamon buns in all of Amsterdam and the surrounding area. I stumbled upon this discovery by chance, as I ordered them as an extra from a bagel shop in Amsterdam via Uber Eats. And it may sound cliché, but it was honestly love at first bite. So intensely delicious that I immediately posted it on my Instagram Stories as the tip of the week, and soon I found out who makes these divine buns: Brittons Bakery. Run by the American Heather, who has been creating the tastiest treats for seven years. Besides these cinnamon buns, she also makes cakes, cookies, cupcakes; all the sweets you can think of. They are homemade and you can really taste it. Unfortunately, my diet doesn't allow me to eat these buns daily, otherwise I would do it in a heartbeat.

But now for the most exciting news: Brittons Bakery is no longer a well-kept secret and can no longer handle all the orders. Just like what would happen to my body if I were to have those buns daily, has happened to Brittons Bakery: it has burst at the seams. Luckily for me, they have a new location, and it's right around the corner: on Ferdinand Bolstraat. However, that is quite pricey, and that's why Heather has set up a crowdfunding campaign, where you can still make a donation.
