The Traitors: Aftershow episode 1

My favorite show has started again and I am so ready for it. Let’s gooooo, The Traitors. I love the scheming, the distrust, the accusations, the bubbling (because apparently you do that every day there) and the tension. Hence my call: shall we mass email Videoland to see if there can be an edition with plebs like you and me? I have made it my personal mission to become a participant and I take that very seriously.
1. Pernille who has no idea who or what Kris Kross Amsterdam is: ‘Well, how nice. So we get music?’ HAHA. Countless number 1 hits, but that is clearly not known to everyone.
2. But fair is fair: I also really like that everyone introduces themselves and also mentions what he/she does for work. By now I also don’t know all the celebrities and yet it’s that lovely Dutch down-to-earth attitude that they don’t assume everyone knows them.
3. Oh, but wait a minute: two thirds of Kris Kross Amsterdam are participating? Oops, this could get interesting. Bet that one of the two is a Traitor? The creators would be crazy not to do that. And then let's see if they drive each other completely crazy.
4. Delightful this. Episode 1, the first ‘task’ and I am immediately confused again. The old-fashioned Traitors feeling.
5. No idea how the season will unfold, but I am extremely happy that Selma Omari is participating. And if she even mentions the audaaaacity just once, my whole year will be made.
6. I was today years old when I found out that Sander and Jordy from Kris Kross Amsterdam are also just BROTHERS. Sorry, late to the party here. ‘If necessary, I’ll stab him in the back,’ says Sander. It’s going to be cozy in this family affair.
7. Maybe I’ll start a petition this year that ‘ordinary’ people can also participate. Or just make an exception once. Because I want to join. I nominate myself. I volunteer as tribute.
8. What they discuss is really true, by the way: only being allowed in the armory is actually just as valuable as having a shield. The Traitors have never gone for someone who could enter that room; the risk is just too great that someone can have a shield.
9. As a Traitor, I would still take that risk, purely to create some chaos in the group. So, Videoland, I would really be an insane participant. I’m waiting for your call.
10. The couple we never knew we needed: Selma Omari and Chahid Charrak, also known as Dutch Performante. They are going to make the season, I feel it in everything.
11. Oh. Just kidding. Chahid: ‘Selma… She just has to go out in the first round.’ So much for my new favorite team.
12. Yaaahaaa, see? Half of Kris Kross Amsterdam is a Traitor. Let the games begin. Will this be the first season where family ties are torn apart? This is going to be a bloodbath, mark my words.
13. And it seems that this will turn out very medium for Sander. How well they can score hits, how poorly this man can act. Aiii.
14. Reason number 238623 why I want to participate in The Traitors: every afternoon they are consistently sipping wine while chatting. Sounds amazing to me.
15. HAHA. Noël who is completely voluntarily digging her own grave: ‘I am very relieved that I am not a faithful.’ Yes, that could cost you your head in this episode, and save Sander from his downfall.
16. Well, it’s nice that Sander is still unaware of any danger. ‘Huh? Me? Do they suspect me? Why?!’
17. Wait, whut? On the first night, no one was murdered? What kind of children’s game is this? We want to see blood. Deceit. Backstabbing. Acting. Aaaaargh.
18. Okay, next week it’s really going to start. Until which episode do you think Sander will make it?
