These couples from Perfect Match are still together
Yesterday, the final part of Perfect Match finally appeared on Netflix and I made myself proud again: of course, I watched the last episodes in one sitting. This X-rated version of Love Island (because if we're being honest: it's exactly the same concept) turned out to be a hit, as it is hugely popular on the streaming service. This is likely also due to all the familiar faces, although not everyone was to everyone's taste... Francesca Farago was a favorite during Too Hot To Handle, but in this program, she didn't shine as much.
Many people also got the creeps from Nick, while they actually liked him in The Circle. Side note: I have the impression that The Circle was really not popular in the Netherlands, is it worth watching? Bartise, who is often affectionately called Barftise on the internet, did not surprise anyone: he was just as disgusting as during Love Is Blind. Personally, I really hated Shayne when he participated in Love Is Blind, but I found him somewhat appealing in Perfect Match.
Love Island is in the Netherlands pretty much the only series where true love comes from... But is that also the case with Perfect Match? Let's dive into the couples.

1. Joey and Kariselle
So sweet that he eventually proposed to her in the last episode. From the very first moment, they were a couple, and I was surprised that they didn't walk away with the win. They were so in love, hello: they were even going to get married. But unfortunately... Francesca Farago, Kariselle's BFF, hinted in a podcast that Joey had been a jerk to Kariselle. He is now even engaged to someone else, but it was already discussed on Reddit that he had a girlfriend at home both before and during the filming (the same one he is now engaged to). Can we not trust anyone anymore? Kariselle doesn't seem too bothered, as she reportedly has a new girlfriend.
2. Damian and Francesca
Ehhh, no. The couple with the least chemistry is, surprisingly, no longer together. Before the filming, Francesca briefly dated influencer Jesse Sulli, and when she returned from Panama, she went back to him; they are currently renovating their dream home. Damian's status is unknown, as far as is known, he is still single.
3. Bartise and Izzy
Of course not. Sorry, but Izzy was just looking for a comeback on the show — first trying with Nick and then moving on to Bartise when that didn't work out. But well, that love didn't happen, Bartise is busy with OnlyFans and has no time for love. Aaargh, I hate this guy so much. Just typing his name irritates me. On to the next.
4. Shayne and Chloe
I really had a lot of faith in this couple. I liked Shayne much more than in Love Is Blind, and their energies matched really well. Okay, he does need to work on his anger issues, but he was completely willing to do that. But unfortunately, this love also didn't work out. It also seems that they were both not honest and that they only had their relationship for clout. In fact, rumors are circulating that Shayne was still with Natalie during the filming of Perfect Match. How awkward is that?
5. Dom and Georgia
Why do I never meet men like Dom? Seriously, what a great guy this is. So sweet, caring, and loyal; a big fan. I also find Georgia beautiful and pleasantly normal, intelligent, and funny. In short: the perfect match. So it is completely justified that they won, although I didn't find their chemistry completely on point... It sometimes looked a bit awkward when they kissed each other. Anyway, the love was actually over again as soon as they returned from Panama. Dom is single and Georgia has been on-and-off with Harry Jowsey for a while. Right, Francesca's ex. Notably, Georgia and Francesca no longer follow each other on Instagram.
