Forget botox: TikTok now swears by frownies

Do you want to get rid of your wrinkles and/or fine lines, but find botox really a step too far? Understandable, but of course you want to achieve the same effects. Then TikTok has the solution for you again, because suddenly hundreds of frownies are appearing on my For You Page. What? I had never heard of them, but according to TikTokers, this is the secret to a cool, wrinkle-free skin.

No, it's not a miracle cream, but a type of patches that you stick on your face when you go to sleep. You place them around your eyes and mouth so that it gets ‘pulled’ tight and you wake up without the lines there. Sounds so simple, and it actually is.

The first person I saw using them was TikToker Palmar Kelly, who is really fun to follow anyway. Besides being an actor and writer, she is also a sex worker and shares very openly about her experiences.
