If it’s up to Tinder, they are during cuffing season your ultimate wingman. The popular dating app has rolled out a few new features that will make dating even easier, especially for Gen Z singles. Yup, sorry millennials, but they are taking this from us too. This is because research has shown that 69 percent of Gen Z-ers believe that the norms around dating have changed and modernized and that apps like Tinder need to adapt to that.

They find traits like loyalty, respect, and open-mindedness more important than appearance and desire connections based on authenticity and shared interests. These new features cater to those needs, making online dating even more enjoyable.

Here’s what’s new:

Facts
If you don’t know much about your match yet, it can be difficult to start a conversation. The ‘facts’ feature offers the opportunity to show more of yourself and respond to facts from others. This way, you can finally have a conversation that goes beyond just ‘how are you?’ Score!

Profile quiz
Share answers to quiz questions on your profile and show your interests this way. This allows you to quickly and easily discover who matches you well.

Lifestyle
With this feature, you easily share information about yourself such as your zodiac sign and your love language, but also whether you have pets and what your eating habits are. This way, you already have plenty to discuss on your first date.

Improved reporting
Reporting someone’s profile has always been available, but now you have the option to report specific things that are wrong with a profile. This makes Tinder a safer environment where users show more respect towards each other.

A new look
Tinder has a fresh look and feel with, among other things, a new ‘It’s a Match!’ screen, designed to make the match special.

Dark mode
For nighttime activities, dark mode is now available in Tinder’s settings.
