A bit bittersweet this: the beginning of the end of Sex Education. The trailer for the fourth season, which will be the last, has just dropped and it is old-fashioned good again. Quite impressive: a series that manages to maintain the same great level for four seasons and knows when to stop at its peak. Because as much as I would love for Sex Education to continue for years, you don't want a situation like Riverdale or Pretty Little Liars where we suddenly deal with time travel, hidden twins, and people returning from the dead.

No, Sex Education does it better and it goes out with a bang, although all the characters are still exactly the ones we know. Otis is still awkward and absolutely doesn't know how to send a good nude to Maeve, Aimee is still on her sexual journey, Adam is still awkward as hell but oh so sweet, and Eric remains just insane, which he has always been.

Only the gang is no longer at Moordale High but has gone to study; Maeve is even abroad. And that studying doesn't go without a hitch (pun intended), which is of course especially hilarious.

Season 4 premieres on September 21 on Netflix, so the countdown has really begun. I am totally not ready to say goodbye to this series, but I am also really looking forward to it. This is going to be enjoyable.
