Wiekes facts: 10 facts about Justin Bieber

For the past few days (or are we already on weeks?) I, like many, have been completely deep in the rabbit hole that is Justin and Hailey's relationship. Even though I obviously don't know them both personally, I feel like I know their relationship more thoroughly than my friends' by now. To not be kept abreast of their woes was almost impossible, as they were basically in the news non-stop because of an alleged feud with Selena Gomez.

I need to correct that a bit: Hailey Bieber was mostly in the news with that, Justin still hasn't responded to anything. High time to dive into The Biebs. He's been around for quite a few years now and has had quite a few hits, but bet you didn't know the following things about him?

1. If he hadn't become a singer, he wanted to be an architect
At least then his existence would have been a lot quieter and probably less glamorous, but what would we have done without The Biebs!

2. Justin is now worth about $485 million
He made a big financial hit last year: he sold his entire discography of a whopping 291 songs and rumours say he captured 200 million for this.

3. Justin Bieber's hair yielded 40K
He donated a lock of hair to Ellen DeGeneres, who then put it on eBay. There, an anonymous buyer bought it for $40,000. I am SO curious to know who this person is and, more importantly, what on earth this person has done with this lock of hair.

4. You have to dig deep if you want to hire him
A mini concert by Justin will cost you between $2.5 million and $6 million. Maybe the guy from that pick should have saved up a bit more after all, because this seems like a slightly better way of spending your excess.

5. People think quite a lot of him on Twitter
Every second, his name is thrown an average of 60 times on Twitter, where he himself has over 113 million followers. Just to illustrate: Canada, where he is from, has a population of 38 million. So a bizarre number, although he did lose 80,000 in one day when he got his iconic Bieber haircut.

6. He speaks a fair bit of French
Whuut? I wasn't exactly looking for that behind him, but at his primary school he received bilingual education. His mother is also French-Canadian and she wanted him to inherit that too, but by now his French has become a bit rusty.

7. He lived in Britney Spears' old house for a while
That was in Calabasas, California (where the Kardashians also live). A fine hideaway though, see for yourself.

I already knew this about him (because it is also a bit of his party trick on talk shows) and I find this genuinely clever. Mine has been lying unresolved in a box with all kinds of rubbish for years - I've given up.

Besides singing, he can also play trumpet, guitar, piano ánd he can play drums.
