These dating shows give you the best chance of success

Are you hesitating to sign up for a reality show to find love? I probably don't need to tell you that the chances are greater that you'll still be single afterward than that you'll meet your soulmate, as most people know that too. And yet there are shows where the success rate is many times higher than in others. So are you curious where you have the best chance of finding love? In these reality shows, you have the best chance.

1. 90 Day Fiancé
Admittedly, this isn't exactly a dating show as you might expect... The people here already know each other; that might also have to do with the fact that the success rate here is by far the highest. So if you want to participate, you'll first need to make an effort to connect online.

2. Married At First Sight
Or you can simply sign up for Married At First Sight, as it ranks second. Didn't expect that, did you? But if you're like me and are hugely addicted to the Australian version, then you know that quite a few couples are still together. Cam and Jules, Martha and Michael, Tahnee and Ollie are still together – and from the last season, Duncan and Evelyn found each other, despite not being matched.

3. Love Is Blind
If I were to sign up for a dating show, it would be Love Is Blind. In fact, I even signed up for the season in Atlanta. The fact that I didn't exactly live near Atlanta ultimately threw a wrench in the works. That this is ranked number three doesn't surprise me much, although especially the first season has proven to be successful in terms of love (Amber and Barnett are still together, for example).

4. Are You The One?
I've honestly never seen this series, but I can't imagine you'd have a good chance of finding true love here. Apparently, I don't have it quite right, given the fourth place.

5. The Bachelor/The Bachelorette series
Just to clarify: this research was not only conducted on Dutch variants but internationally. Because even though Sylvia is still with her Joris, it has gone a bit less well with Tony Junior and Thomas van der Vlugt... Apparently, it's very different in America, for example.

6. Temptation Island
I thought this would be far in last place, but I was completely wrong about that.

7. Too Hot To Handle
No, maybe I thought this series would score even worse. People don't come here for love, do they? I think the vast majority falls in love with that cash prize of $100,000 — that must be love at first sight.

8. Love Island
And the last place is... Love Island. Here you have by far the least chance of finding love. I found it striking that it came in last place, as Love Island is portrayed as a much classier dating show than the two series above, for example. In the Dutch version, you can hardly drink alcohol, but on Temptation, they drink quite a bit. Apparently, that's a better way to find love, because that sober Love Island is by far the most hopeless.
