This is not a drill, I repeat: this is NOT a drill. One of the best Dutch series ever is definitely coming back. And yes, of course I'm talking about Gooische Vrouwen. How great is that? That we would ever see Cheryl, Claire, Anouk, Willemijn, and Roelien back on our screens. Best. News. Of. The. Day.

‘In collaboration with Videoland, work is being done on a new season of the hit series Gooische Vrouwen, based on an idea by Linda de Mol and directed by Will Koopman. After the enormous success of the TV series and two record-breaking movies, the four popular friends from Het Gooi will shine on the small screen again at the end of 2024. As soon as there is more information to share, we will do so from SBS6 and Videoland,’ said Talpa to RTL Boulevard. Personally, I read this as a very formal message, while they are actually just saying that the flag can be flown, champagne can be popped, and a binge session of Gooische Vrouwen is very much in order.

Okay, so we have to wait a little longer and that's always a shame, but if you look at how quickly this year has flown by... Before you know it, it's the end of 2024 and we'll be enjoying Gooische Vrouwen just like from 2005 to 2009. CAN'T WAIT.
