B&B's Albert has a lot to explain

By
Albert

Singer-songwriters are generally those dreamy types that almost everyone melts for as soon as a guitar is brought out. Even if there's a bit of strumming and humming, once there’s eye contact in between, the average person is set ablaze. Now it turns out there are exceptions. Because if I have to name one singer-songwriter that I constantly hope will stop performing his spontaneously made-up songs, it’s Rick. And while Rick continuously brings serenades to Mirjam, Marcel quietly takes out his notebook, sobbing, to finally write down what else he would like to tell Mirjam. And preferably without asking her in between what she actually thinks about it.

But also in Scotland, something is starting to flow, and this time it’s not rain. Els is unexpectedly sent away and understandably, she is quite sad about it. She had prepared everything so well that she had managed to take the tension out of the relationship. Fortunately, the tension between Arno and Niels is indeed present. Emil has zero sense of ambiance, so despite accidentally wandering through the same little village, he experienced the atmosphere there very differently than Arno and Niels did through their rose-colored glasses.

Albert continues to surprise us. Not only does he vividly describe how Malgosia pulled down his sweatpants when he returned from his workout, but he also manages to package it in such a way that Joyce finds it all okay and even believes his chatter. Between them, it’s true love, is what he reflects to her. Albert is head over heels in love every time the latest addition steps over the threshold, so the fact that an old acquaintance is now at the door could mean that the dreamy Joyce will soon be set aside. The final score of this episode is that 49% is cried and 49% is in ecstasy. The remaining 2% are for Mirjam, where actually nothing happens at all.
