The Flawless Filter by Charlotte Tilbury remains my favorite. It gives you the most beautiful glow and it matches perfectly with my Beautiful Skin Foundation that I wear over it (did you know that every thirty seconds somewhere in the world one flies over the (digital) counter?). But Charlotte is really struggling with brands that develop lookalikes and dupes of her number one product. For example, e.l.f. Cosmetics already came out with a dupe a few years ago for a nice price (€15,-), and now the beauty brand Catrice is lurking; they are launching an even cheaper variant, the ‘Soft Glam Filter Fluid’. I was recently at Kruidvat and there were definitely ten young girls eagerly looking at the fresh boxes of Catrice makeup; the store employee didn't even have the time to neatly put the new stock on the shelf. All wild about this Soft Glam for €7.99. The glow seems to be mega comparable to that of Tilbury and from the nine different shades, everyone can find a match, as the coverage is very subtle. So it’s mainly about the glow here, which you apply with an applicator that also looks very much like the original: that of Charlotte Tilbury, if I may say so. The Soft Glam Filter is vegan, fragrance-free, contains no alcohol or parabens, and is even gluten-free. It does contain vitamin E to protect your skin and squalane, an ingredient that hydrates the skin. Are you going to try it?
