This bag is also known as the new Birkin Bag

What a big dream it is to one day get a Birkin Bag but not knowing where to scrape together all the money: good news. For a fraction of the price, the Olsen Twins now have a bag in their collection that is supposed to represent the new Birkin. Celebrities like Zoë Kravitz, Kendall Jenner, and Jennifer Lawrence have already been spotted with it, so you know it's serious business.
Anyone who is a bit familiar with Hermès knows that you can't just buy a Birkin Bag. First of all, it's a hefty sum you have to pay, and secondly, it's not like you can just walk into the store and pick one that meets your wishes. First, you have to ‘earn trust’ and become a regular customer, only then will you be put on a waiting list and maybe get the chance to buy one. But don't cheer too hard: even then, the chance is minuscule that you'll actually get the bag in the color and model you would prefer. It's a matter of taking what you get. And if you don't like it, then you end up back at the bottom of the list.
You need to have patience, that much is certain. And that's exactly what is starting to bother us a bit. We no longer have patience due to the advent of online shopping, because why wait years when you can just order a bag in two minutes? The Olsen Twins thought the same and created a bag with their exclusive brand The Row that is supposed to represent the modern Birkin: more affordable and available for everyone.
I'm talking about the Margaux Bag, a timeless, modern, and minimalist bag that does resemble a Birkin Bag in some ways. The only little difference lies in the price. For a Hermès version, you pay at least €10,000 (if you're lucky), and for the Margaux Bag, it starts at €3,790. It's still not a bargain, but compared to the Birkin, it is. Finally, with The Row, you have a say in the color and size you would like, something that is not the case with Hermès, of course.
Besides the fact that you probably won't get tired of the bag in twenty years, the Olsen Twins also decided to make the Margaux unbranded. We see it more often: fewer brands prominently displayed, but the twins wanted to see if a bag without any visible logo would do well. And that experiment, from what I hear, went exactly as they had hoped. The bag has become a wishlist item for many fashion girls that isn't always in stock. This time we are lucky: it's still in stock. A nice Christmas gift to yourself?
