Is another favorite Hollywood couple breaking up?

We have just recovered from the Ben & Jen saga, and now a new breakup rumor is circulating about one of our favorite couples. Dakota Johnson and Chris Martin have been together since 2017, and generally, we don't see much of them compared to other couples. It's not that they live extremely privately, but it's also not as public as Taylor and Travis handle it, for example. Still, they are one of those couples we are completely in love with; they radiate love and peace, and it seems like they really enjoy each other's company. That feeling was confirmed when it came out that they secretly got engaged a few years ago. The shock when it turned out that J.Lo and Ben were really breaking up makes us find these breakup rumors a bit more exciting. Because it could actually be true.

In March of this year, a source told People Magazine that the couple was back together. The fact that they are ‘back together’ would mean that they had been apart for a while, which was shocking news in itself. But since then, just like we saw with Ben and Jen, it's been a back and forth of speculation: one day we hear they have broken up, the next day those rumors are quashed when Dakota is spotted outside looking very cheerful and content, making it seem like nothing is wrong at all.

Now the breakup rumors have been debunked by her team, but the tension around it remains, of course. We've seen this before in Hollywood, and as long as the couple themselves do not respond and say they are still very happy together, I am not at ease. I just think it would be such a shame if they really do break up. Their vibe with Chris’ ex Gwyneth Paltrow, and how they manage their blended family, I have always found super impressive. It seems like a harmonious and loving family, so please let it stay that way.
