A word about Ali B
Everything we thought during the session

There it was, the moment that took so incredibly long. The interrogation of Ali B.
I naturally leave the judiciary to those who have studied for it and who understand it. As a woman, you are quickly inclined to take up for the victim and bring your personal approval or disapproval into your judgment. So are we. Therefore, we will stick to the observations that circulated in all the app groups.
– Our observation: How nice for Jill Helena to have a lawyer like Sébas Diekstra. Not a killer lawyer who just wants to win, but an involved, warm person. You can see that in everything.
– Sports friend C: ‘How intensely awkward for the public prosecutor to read all the charges aloud: “He put three fingers in my vagina.”’
– Our observation: Why would they have chosen the word ‘piemel’ and not ‘penis’? Do they secretly find that a bit sillier or is ‘piemel’ a more official term than ‘penis’?
– Colleague H: ‘Ali is not really impressed by courtroom etiquette. “Crap.” and: “I don’t want to sound like Ali Herhali” and just standing up and walking to the prosecutor to show a video on your iPhone.’
– Friend B: ‘Also a bit awkward that Ali addresses Jill Helena directly. “But Jill, why?”’
– Especially in all the app groups, great astonishment about the complete denial of Ali B. Evert Santegoeds observed in Shownieuws: “It seems as if he, just like with his advances, did not want to hear ‘no’, he is also totally not open to the charges. He would want mediation, but mediation only works if you are also open to your own mistakes.”
– What also circulated a lot is the remark: ‘But Ellen ten Damme is not a fragile little figure that is not used to anything, right? If she gives a statement, that says a lot. Birgit Schuurman also says that Ali B. immediately put his tongue in her mouth and Birgit also doesn’t seem to be a mouse that is not used to anything. These strong women of the world apparently experienced his presence as inappropriate.’
– Friend S: ‘But what if all of this is indeed not true?’
– Then Ali's reaction: “But Ellen was just nice to me again afterwards” or something to that effect. Maybe someone should explain to Ali how layered something like crossing boundaries works.
Today we will hear more.
