Hilarious: this dating app only allows men who are recommended by a woman

Are you already tired of dating apps? Then it's time to wake up from your winter sleep, because there is a new dating app that is so brilliant that you will want to be a part of it right away. The app is called Hulah and has something that other dating apps don't have: as a man, you can only create an account here if you have received a recommendation from a woman. A kind of built-in filter for red flags, because girls support girls and I wouldn't recommend my emotionally unavailable friends (no matter how much I love them) on this app either.

Heather Hopkins, CEO and founder of Hulah, was inspired to start the app after she had too many dates with men via apps that initially seemed fantastic but ultimately turned out to be terrible. Been there, done that. Still, she knew there were good men with genuine intentions because she knew a few herself. This is how the idea for Hulah was born, where women can recommend such men to other single women.

This is how it works
Women can join the app (you don't have to be single as a woman), then they can create groups of men that they mark as ‘has potential’, for when you're not quite sure if this man in your life is a dream man, or ‘fully endorsed’, for when you're sure that this man has everything to offer that the modern woman deserves. Other Hulah users can send the group creator a message to learn more about the men and report back if he turns out not to be so great. If you match with someone, you must schedule a five-minute video chat before you can send a message, so you can be sure you're not being scammed. Personally, I find that last part a bit intense, but I can appreciate this Trustpilot way of dating. So download it, that thing.
