You really want this color on your nails this autumn
One of the nicest recurring appointments in my schedule is with my nail stylist Cynthia. I come in with some inspiration and she always puts a nice twist on it. Usually, I have a rough idea of what kind of pattern I want, but when it comes to colors, I leave a lot up to her. ‘I'm in the mood for something autumnal,’ I just say, and she knows exactly which colors to pick. When I think of autumn colors, I think of dark green, brown, orange, and dark red. That's exactly what I needed right now. Still, I have one unwritten rule: we only do orange on King's Day or around the European or World Cup.
Because autumn was already approaching, I got my autumn dream nails last time: dark green marble with gold leaf. I knew I would miss these nails, no matter how beautiful the next ones would be. But luckily, I went with a plan. Because with the rain, wind, and storm outside, you need something warm on your nails. Lilian had recently written about the color of this autumn: burgundy.

And what many people don't know: even if you want a biab treatment, you can still choose fun colors and nail art. What we are seeing a lot right now are ‘magnetic nails’. That doesn't mean your keys will constantly stick to your nails, but it's a technique used to create beautiful patterns in your nails using special magnetic nail polish. It gives a kind of glitter effect and some extra depth. This is available in almost every color, but I have decided to postpone this trend for myself until Christmas. So I chose burgundy nails with a nice autumnal pattern of cozy leaves. A bit less prominent than the pattern I had before, because that variation is also very nice. Be sure to get inspired via Insta.
