Netflix tip: the UK version of Love is Blind is here

It has been one of my favorite guilty pleasures since the first season: ‘Love is Blind.’ My love for this rather bizarre show started with the American version, which was so wonderfully hysterical that you can hardly believe it's really true. But there are couples who stay married and even have children after the show, so there must be some form of reality to the program. After just a week, declaring that you love each other, tearfully accepting the proposal, and then one of the participants decides on the wedding day that it might have all gone a bit too fast.
Just like with First Dates, I usually find the English version of shows even more enjoyable, so that will probably be the case here as well. Because ‘Love is Blind’ now comes with the UK version. While Americans hysterically declare their love for each other very quickly, the English are usually very honest and sincere in front of the camera. So I am very curious whether they will get swept up in the hysteria of the show, or whether this time we will mainly see the drama and arguments that are guaranteed to follow after all the couples meet during living together and the parties and gatherings that are organized. I'm ready to binge all twelve episodes this week.
