In group 7, I already gave my presentation about Ariana Grande and the summer after that I got tickets for her concert for my birthday. That was quite something, because we didn't order the tickets through the official site, so I remember the excitement and the feeling of happiness when we walked into the Ziggo Dome. My mother squeezed my hand very hard and I looked at her and thought: we are actually here! After this concert, her album Positions was released, but then it was a bit quiet between Ariana and me. At least, not with my love for her, but the tap for new music was turned off for a while. Quite a while actually. After four long years, it is finally here. Today, Eternal Sunshine is available everywhere. Ariana Grande has, as can be seen on her Instagram account, at least as much excitement as we do. For weeks she has been counting the days, hours, and minutes until she can let us listen to her music baby and she will even perform this Saturday on Saturday Night Live.

At the beginning of January, we got a little preview with the song ‘Yes, and?’, with which she seems to respond to the society in which we all have opinions about everything and feel the need to express that. Ariana's response to this is ‘Yes, and?’ and that found great follow-up in various TikTok variations. Because there was criticism. Sometimes she wore too much makeup, sometimes she would have been to the plastic surgeon would have been, then she would again suffer from an eating problem... In short, it was never good and this is Ariana's response.

The titles of the other songs are ‘Imperfect for you’, ‘Bye’, ‘Don't wanna break up again’ and ‘Supernatural’. She has undoubtedly processed life lessons in them. Now just a concert and I will be satisfied again.
